Welcome to Pashupatinagar Market
Pashupatinagar is a town and Village Development Committee in Ilam District in the Mechi Zone of eastern Nepal. There is a border crossing to Sukhiapokhri town with a customs checkpoint. Indian and Nepalese nationals cross without restriction. You will find this market on your way to Mirik Lake. Situated right at the Nepal border, this is the place to buy cheap cosmetics and clothes imported from Thailand. It’s not more than a 10-minute walk away from the Darjeeling-Mirik Road. Don’t be fooled by cab drivers who will offer you a ride to the market for Rs. 200 saying the market is a short distance away.
